Dorthe Skovgaard’s strategic focus areas are Human Rights; in particular children’s rights, reproductive health rights, rights of persons with disability and rights advocacy, and Social Progress; in particular child protection and participation, psycho-social support, inclusive education, HIV/AIDS risk reduction, skills development and gender equality.

Dorthe Skovgaard has comprehensive knowledge about action oriented research methodology, participatory approaches and evidence tracking methods, and she has well tested training and facilitation skills and enjoys working in multi-cultural settings.
