Specialisation and key qualifications
An anthropologist by training, Signe specialises in local context and policy research as well as participation in development processes.
Adding to this, she has years’ experience capacity building organisations and community groups in Africa as well as in England, specialising in devising strategies, systems and business plans for charity effectiveness, with a clear link to mission and vision, Theory of Change and a realistic understanding of the context within which an organisation works.
This includes devising monitoring systems and conducting evaluations, policy analysis and market research. With an MSc in NGO Management, her expertise includes a thorough understanding of resource management and charity accounts.
In England, Signe has extensive experience working with community development and engagement, children and youth as well as facilitating cross sector collaborative working and partnerships.
She is a Lay Member of the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board, where she sits on the Participation and Engagement sub-committee, advising and challenging the multi-agency board.
